Pre-Primary Education Programmes
Pre-Nursery education is the first level of the pre-primary education system at Noble Foundation
School. It caters for children ages 2 to 4 years. There are two classes –
Playgroup and Kindergarten. Pupils are expected to be about 2 years old before admission to Playgroup.
Nursery education is the second level of the pre-primary education system at Noble Foundation School. It caters for children ages 4 to 5 years. There are two classes – Nursery One
and Nursery Two. Pupils are expected to be about 4 years old before admission to Nursery One and should have acquired the
pre-nursery education knowledge stipulated as part of NoFoS curriculum.
Aims of Noble Pre-Primary Education Programmes
- To
provide a safe and stimulating environment in which children can feel happy and secure;
- to
encourage the emotional, social, physical, creative and intellectual development of children;
- to
promote the welfare of children;
- to
encourage positive attitudes to self and others and develop confidence and self-esteem
- to
create opportunities for play;
- to
encourage children to explore the world;
- to
provide opportunities to stimulate interest and imagination;
- to
extend children’s abilities to communicate ideas and feelings in a variety of ways; and
- to
inspire spiritual moral values in the children and lay the foundations necessary for them to become independent, conscious,
active and responsible participants in a democratic society, which is in rapid and continuous development.
